Brand-specific gas fireplace support

Town & Country fireplace repair needs more than the firebox name. The burner package and vent arrangement matter too. Send the appliance label, burner information and any power-vent identification so the service visit addresses the complete installation.

A Town & Country firebox can have separate burner instructions

Town & Country’s documentation separates appliance, operator, burner and vent manuals. Its TC30 resources include different burner packages, such as Heartwood, Chalet and Country Home. A decorative package is part of a documented configuration rather than a collection of interchangeable logs.

Keep the series and revision with the model name. The TC30 D2 operator record and an older TC30 record are separate references. A photograph of the finished fireplace is helpful for access planning, but it cannot replace the label when a component is selected.

Record the flame and the sequence

What has changed What needs assessment
Uneven flame or soot around the burner media The installed burner package, condition and approved media arrangement.
Pilot is visible; the main burner does not follow The request for heat and the appliance-specific control and ignition sequence.
A power vent runs but ignition does not complete The vent package, interlocks and controls as a complete system.
A log, panel or glass assembly is damaged The correct assembly for the firebox, series and installed package.

Choose service or replacement of a damaged item

A condition that can be corrected through the specified service procedure does not automatically call for a new burner. A damaged model-specific burner, media item or control needs its approved replacement confirmed before work is scheduled. Ask whether the quote includes the component, access and commissioning of the entire configuration.

Do not rearrange the logs or add decorative material to cover a dark area. A flame appearance complaint can also involve conditions outside the burner package. Tell the technician whether it started after cleaning, renovation work or a previous part change.

For warranty or parts support, keep the original retailer and installation details. Confirm supply and support for the exact package rather than accepting a generic online description such as “fits TC fireplaces”.

Repair comparison for a finished feature wall

A replacement estimate should consider the opening, existing vent system, power-vent requirements, mantel and finish access. On a feature wall, the work around the appliance can influence the project as much as the equipment. Compare this full scope with a supported component repair before deciding.

Questions before you book

Is a TC30 burner the same across all series?

Use the series-specific appliance and burner documentation. Do not assume the model family proves compatibility.

Should a noisy power vent be replaced immediately?

Its condition, electrical supply, controls and vent configuration need assessment. A noise report alone does not select the failed component.

Local repair and your next decision

Bernoulli Heating & Cooling serves Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. Book a diagnostic visit for a fault, choose fireplace service for planned maintenance, or compare fireplace installation and replacement when the appliance needs changing.

The existing-fireplace diagnostic appointment is $135. Repair labour, approved parts and required materials are extra. See what the diagnostic fee covers before booking.

For local appointment information, use West Vancouver fireplace repair, White Rock fireplace repair or North Vancouver fireplace repair. Send the model, serial photo, city and a brief description with your request.

Manufacturer references

Use the document for the exact appliance, fuel, revision and installed accessories. The examples on this page explain decisions; they do not identify a replacement part for your fireplace.
