Provide the exact property and appliance details
For Cedar Valley, Hatzic, Silverdale or another Mission address, send the full location and building type. A house, townhouse or strata property can have different access arrangements. Confirm the installed fuel from the appliance and property records; a rural setting does not establish propane use.
Include the label, handset and any previous service or conversion records. Mention how long the fireplace has been unused and whether the problem started before that period. If more than one unit is present, identify which one is affected.
Standing pilot or electronic ignition?
Tell us whether the pilot is normally continuous, appears only during a start request or never establishes. The actual control arrangement determines which components and tests apply.

Approved parts for the recorded model
An Archgard fireplace needs its full model and controls identified. A Kingsman unit needs the fuel and installed package documented; a Napoleon appliance may use another ignition arrangement.
Regency, Valor, Montigo and Town & Country models can also be assessed. We confirm the approved pilot assembly, valve, control or blower and its availability. A part that fits physically may still be incompatible with the appliance or fuel.
If service can restore the existing component within the approved procedure, that is a different scope from replacing an assembly. Diagnosis should explain why the proposed work is needed.
